Be Your Own Fairy Godmother

You don’t need to wait for a fairy godmother to bestow surprising and wonderful gifts on you. Instead, become one yourself. How? Show up. Bring balance to the masculine and feminine aspects of your nature. Have faith and charity of heart. Follow your insights. Bring forward your passions. Become that which you seek from another. Emanate love and happiness from the core of your being. Herein lies the basic view from which all successful relationships can develop: I do not need you, but rather I choose you, so that I can contribute to your growth, and you to mine. From this lens comes the most stunning opportunity for magical Majesty to unfold in your world. You will continue to discover that the Universe loves you, serves you, and wants you to experience abundance. Unburden yourself. There is enough. Enough men, enough women, enough money, enough of everything. Would God want that which S/He created to lose? The only interruption toward the awakening of your full glory is your own belief that it cannot be so.

I said to my soul, be still and wait without hope for hope

Would be hope for the wrong thing. Wait without love.

For love would be love of the wrong thing, and there is

Yet faith. But the faith and the hope and the love are all

In the waiting. Wait without thought for you are not

Ready for thought. For in the darkness shall be the light

And in the stillness, the dancing.

— T. S. Eliot (1970)

  1. I am Definitely my own fairy godmother… waving my magic wand all over the place. LOL Now if only I could get some of it to work real magic! HA!

  2. Really great nuggets of truth here Luann. I wholeheartedly agree… I definitely could use more work on the part that says have charity of heart… I tend to have much less patience with people. Ugh!

  3. Everytime we reach out to help another, we are waving that magic wand.

  5. My relatives all the time say that I am killing my time here at net, except I know I am getting
experience daily by reading thes nice articles or reviews.
